Notice is hereby given that this addendum dated July 15, 2026 (Bid Opening/Extraordinary Circumstance Clarification) for the Construction of the new “Washington County Public Safety Building”, has been adopted and incorporated to the bid document.

The bid opening meeting shall be held as follows: Wednesday, July 22nd, 2026, at 11:00A.M. at 95 W Beau Street, Suite 430, Washington PA 15301 with names and pricing to be read aloud by each individual discipline (GC, HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical) and with the intention of making four bid awards, one for each specialty to the lowest, most responsive and responsible bidder.

Additional clarification is provided below as Exhibit A and is intended to document the critical nature of this project to bidders and detail the requirements and urgency thereof. Please review and file as incorporated documentation for this bid.

These bids shall be for the construction of the new Public Safety Building according to specifications, drawings, bid document and all addenda in their entirety. This addendum as issued shall not change or alter any of the drawings, specifications or bid requirements as provided and is intended solely to schedule the bid opening meeting and provide additional clarification where desired.

Bidders shall have opportunity to adjust bid proposals with the additional time and resubmit their bids up to the deadline outlined herein. Any bids previously received to the Washington County Controller’s office shall be returned to the sender’s address.

Washington County will not be held responsible for any incorrect information obtained from any source other than from Washington County. Bid offers should be fully enforceable with valid pricing for a minimum of 30 days following the bid opening.

The project will be bid as multiple-prime in the following disciplines:

Notice is hereby given that Washington County will be receiving sealed proposals from qualified, interested planning A/E firms for ‘Washington County Fairgrounds Horse Arena”, at the Office of the County Controller, to be mailed or delivered to, 95 West Beau Street, Suite 430, Washington, PA 15301, until 11:00 A.M. Prevailing Time, on Monday, March 23rd, 2026. All submissions shall contain one unbound original and two copies. RFPs will be promptly opened at the time indicated above, names only to be read. Proposers should be prepared to complete site design, architectural drawings, and bid documents for construction for a 300’ x 50’ x 20’ height free span barn, as well as three each 100’ x 60’ horse stable barns at the Washington County Fairgrounds. The proposal must include all elements outlined in this RFP.
