Washington County invites the community to visit the new webpage for the Ullom Road over Westland Run Bridge Replacement Project in Chartiers Township.
The webpage provides project information, including planned improvements, traffic impacts and control, and the anticipated construction schedule. The page will remain available throughout the project with construction expected to be completed in winter 2028.
The existing one-lane bridge is in serious condition and has a 3-ton weight limit. The project will replace it with a new two-lane bridge featuring a widened shoulder for pedestrians and no weight restriction.
Washington County is sponsoring and managing the project, with PennDOT providing funding oversight, technical assistance, and regulatory review.
